WHO IS JOHN ADAMSON?
John Adamson has been an Evanston resident since 1951 and a
Realtor since 1977. Formerly sales manager and
vice president of another local firm, John's real estate
experience includes residential and commercial sales,
appraisal, property management and rehabbing.
He is certified as a Seniors Real
Estate Specialist. This designation is the result
of John's extensive training in handling the specialized
real estate needs of the areas growing number of senior
citizens. You can count on John to give extra care to each
client's unique situation.
By doing his best to make the experience of selling and
purchasing real estate enjoyable for his clients, he has
consistently been a top producer in real estate sales for over
twenty-five years, achieving over $20 million in
sales volume year after year. John has recently been
recognized by an independent marketing research firm as having
placed in the top 1% of all agents (approximately
27,000) in Northern Illinois.
While John's primary focus has been residential sales, he
also has extensive experience in the marketing of new
and "green" construction developments, condominium conversions,
and investment properties. John knows every inch of
Evanston and the surrounding areas.
John and partner Sandra Brown co-own and manage
Weichert, Realtors® Lakeshore Partners. As
former chairman of the North Shore Barrington Board of Realtors
Professional Standards Committee, John chairs ethics and
arbitration hearings. He has served on its Board of Directors
and is a former member of the Evanston Housing Commission.

Adamson's avocation for music ranges from singing in an
award-winning barbershop quartet, "The Key
Ingredient", to performing with the "Grateful Dads", a
60s rock band oriented to fund-raising for non-profit
groups. Included in the National registry of "Who's
Who in America," John is a thirteen year veteran of
coaching girls grade school basketball and the YMCAs
father/daughter "Princess" program.
An avid Northwestern University Wildcats
fan, John lives in Evanston with his wife Ann.
They have three children and a pet boxer, Penny.
